Computer Time Synchronization
A Beginner's Guide to Network Time Protocol (NTP)
Choices on Other Operating Systems
In Building
and Installing the Distribution and the
Hints and Kinks for other operating systems, I did not see
references to any operating systems except Windows NT and various
flavors of Unix so I don't think the open source NTP server has
been ported to other operating systems. There may be commercial
NTP servers for some other OSs. The NIST
time
software publishers page mentioned previously lists over 45
Windows and Macintosh products. The University of Delaware
Time
Synchronization Software page (with a much larger list of NTP
software which was categorized by operating system) is gone and
I can't find a replacement page. There was an
OS/2 "postcardware" client and server solution that was given a
very favorable mention.
