Security is About Trade-Offs

Security is about much more than preventing outsiders from stealing or damaging your data or systems. Security is about assuring timely access to accurate data and information and only providing access to those who have a legitimate reason for having that access. Security includes keeping systems operational so that data can be accessed. It includes preventing authorized users from making unauthorized changes to data and information.
